After the closure of project registrations, the nominations go through the assessment phase. In this phase, they are verified for the validity of the nomination and the contents of the nomination.
Jury Evaluation
The concluding phase consisting of an independent team of Jury appointed under a chairman, evaluates project nominations along with the reports from the assessment phase. This team consists of both national and international experts specialized in e-government services and related areas of expertise.
They commence their evaluations by viewing the nominations remotely at first and they subsequently meet in Oman during a specific period to score and declare the award winning projects in their respective categories. In exceptional cases this jury may request a face-to-face session with the project teams. This jury team acts professionally, independently and neutrally, following the award rules and criteria for evaluations. Accordingly, the decisions and choices made by the Jury Panel will be final and not be subject to change or amendment
